How can you create nothingness? And what might make it disappear again? The black holes in this studio float away, detached from space and classification.

To make them, the photographers distributed real, three-dimensional, dark surfaces across their studio.

Everything – almost everything – seems to disappear into these black holes. Traces of them are still to be found in their studio.

What goes in small, comes out bigger.

The different levels are confusing. Is something on the floor here?

Nothing is as it seems any more. In a black hole, even dimensions change of their own accord.
